Be Grateful Poem

So you think you've had a hard day

Where everything just seems to go wrong

Look right,left and center

Yet find no shoulder to cry on

So maybe you think it's time to give up

Cos' to you, you've tried your best

You say Enough is Enough

As you get on your Knees

And cry out to the skies

Hoping for a little mercy

Be Grateful

For each new morning with its light,

For rest and shelter of the night,

For health and food,

for love and friends,

For everything Thy goodness sends.

Cos' there might Come a time

When you'll see no light

Feel no love

Have no Shelter nor health nor food

Be Grateful

Cos' Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.
